How to make the right Cape Town hotel choice

Your hotel choice
You want to find suitable Cape Town accommodation but your own knowledge of the Cape area is limited, so how do you reach the best convenience and value in your selection of hotel?
Make sure your hotel is graded: The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa regulates the various accommodation establishments in South Africa by allocating them with gradings.
The official grading of an establishment means that it is rated from one to five stars depending on the standards provided and is advertised accordingly. You then make your own assessment in terms of quality and cost.
A one star rating is allocated to an establishment providing clean and comfortable accommodation at an economical price. At the other end of the scale, five stars caters for those who prefer to pay for the best luxury accommodation and facilities.
