It's a new way of distributing content/information on the internet - be it news, pages from websites, newsletters or blogs. Also known as XML it's a simple and convenient way for you to access constantly updated online information by subscribing to the relevant Cape Town RSS or any other feed. A content provider writes a short description pointing to his/her information and then publishes it as an XML/RSS/Atom file. You then subscribe by using an RSS reader and link from the description through to the information source.
